crptoX provides isolated Sandbox and Live environments so you can test your complete payment integration before processing real payments.

Sandbox and Live

Sandbox


                            crx_test_...

Sandbox is designed for development and testing. Requests authenticated with a crx_test_ API key use supported blockchain test networks and do not interact with production payment data.

Live


                            crx_live_...

Live is the production environment. Requests authenticated with a crx_live_ API key use enabled main networks and production merchant configuration.

The environment is determined exclusively by the API key. Do not send environment or mode in the request body.

Sandbox Networks

Sandbox payments use blockchain test networks. Configure a Sandbox Wallet for the network you want to test before creating an invoice.

TRON

Shasta

TRON Sandbox payments are processed on the Shasta test network.

BSC

BSC Testnet

BSC Sandbox payments are processed on BSC Testnet.

Test the Complete Payment Flow

Create a Sandbox API key from the Developer section of your merchant dashboard.

Add an active wallet under Sandbox Wallets for the test network you want to use.

Call the Payment Methods endpoint to see which network and asset combinations are currently available.

Create an invoice using your crx_test_ API key and one of the available Sandbox payment methods.

Send the required test token amount from a wallet on the same test network to the payment address returned by the invoice.

crptoX detects the blockchain transaction, monitors confirmation progress, and updates the payment and invoice status.

Retrieve the invoice again or process the corresponding webhook events to verify the final payment result.

Discover Available Payment Methods

Use the Payment Methods endpoint to retrieve the networks and assets currently available for your merchant account in the authenticated environment. This avoids hard-coding payment methods in your integration.

Sandbox is isolated from Live

Sandbox wallets, invoices, blockchain transactions, and payment activity are isolated from Live data. Testnet payments cannot settle Live invoices, and Live blockchain payments cannot settle Sandbox invoices.
